Green Smoothie With Vitamin C
A delicious and healthy green smoothie recipe loaded with Vitamin C!
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup filtered water
1/2 cup ice
4 large chunks of pineapple
1 banana
1 Handful of raw spinach
1/2 scoop vanilla wellious protein powder
Directions
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour and enjoy! (top with flaxseeds if desired)
Green Smoothie’s are like cheat codes for getting your greens in. It’s like you could suffer through a plate of leafy greens, loaded with butter and salt to make them bearable while counter balancing with the sodium and saturated fat, or you can just drink a delicious green smoothie… Yeah, we’ll go with green smoothie please. The trick is to get greens in, but still make it a sweet and refreshing smoothie. We put together this recipe to do just that. In addition, we wanted this green smoothie to have plenty of vitamin C as that’s been a must-have micronutrient for us recently. So enjoy the citrusy notes of this shake, while getting your spinach, protein, fiber, and vitamin C in!
